Learning Consultant - Assessor

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Remote (Ideally home location to be in Berkshire)

Salary: £21 - £23k plus commission

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week

We deliver a training experience that is tailored to individuals learning styles and needs. Our learners receive top quality tailored training using blended learning and work with employers to ensure the learner will not only have the knowledge to fulfil the role but have the practical skills to embrace the full challenge of the working environment.

Overview of the role:

This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in the assessment process allowing people to achieve a full L2 or L3 qualification in their relevant occupational sector. You will be required to take a caseload of learners where you will have regular meetings to support them through the qualification process. This will involve regular visits to the learners place of employment and also remote support

Duties: 

  • Assess and support learners working towards full Apprenticeship frameworks in Customer Service and Admin to levels 2/3 and Management level 3.
  • Deliver full training and support learners through their Functional Skills - Maths, English and ICT to level 2 - Tech Cert, ERR & PLTS.
  • Visit and observe learners in their place of work, to gather quality evidence towards their Apprenticeship/QCF qualifications.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Work to learner review and completion timescales.
  • Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.

Essential Criteria: 

MUST HAVE A Recognised Assessor award: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA.

  • Experience of delivering full Apprenticeships in the above vocational areas including Functional Skills.
  • Must hold relevant occupational competency within Management, Customer Service and Admin.
  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  • Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
  • Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel
